Kranzberg Chairlift

The chairlift will take you to the landscape paradise of Kranzberg (1,200 m high). There are well-maintained hiking trails lead through unique flora, to nearby mountain lakes (Lautersee, Ferchensee, Wildensee, Luttensee, Schmalensee) and to numerous mountain restaurants.

A special nature experience is the panoramic barefoot hiking trail. It offers a wide range of sensory experiences on 24 imaginatively designed stations! Whether you are running gravel in a variety of shapes, bark, moss or pine cones, a refreshing mountain stream or a lush flower meadow. Rediscover your feet and relax while walking barefoot. Pastor Kneipp already knew that the simplest curing agent is walking barefoot. It strengthens muscles and joints, stimulates the cardiovascular system and strengthens the entire immune system. It is also fun for young and old. Starting point is near the mountain station of the chairlift or at the mountain restaurant St. Anton (5 minutes from the mountain station).

Added as a new attraction is a mountain-cart-trail. This runs from the mountain to the valley station on the 1.6 km long track used in winter as a toboggan run. A driveway is only rarely crossed, otherwise the demanding trail winds through the beautiful mixed forest of the mountain. Before driving you get a thorough instruction, helmets are obligatory and can be rented free of charge.

In the winter you will find yourself on the sun terrace of the ski centre of Mittenwald. A well groomed toboggan run (+ sledge rental) and a snowshoe hiking trails are available for the whole family.
